Amarna Therapeutics B.V. is a biotechnology company that develops therapeutic vaccines to treat genetic disorders and immunity-associated diseases such as autoimmune diseases, allergies and cancer. The base of our immunotherapeutics is the SVac viral gene delivery vector platform, which is safe, highly efficient, tolerogenic, scalable, cost effective and thus overcomes all limitations of the gene delivery systems used by the competition. For the first time in history we have the technology available to address the major diseases of our time. In order to execute our preclinical and clinical program, we established a consortium of key players in the field of vector production, immunology and oncology.
Amarna Therapeutics has extensive know-how in entrepreneurial activities and is well-experienced with the major business issues such as intellectual property, technology, legal, finance and business strategy. Our R&D team has a long standing expertise in virology, molecular biology, immunology, cell biology and is highly experienced in molecular cloning activities, tissue culture of mammalian cells and production of (recombinant) virus particles in mammalian cell systems. Our office and laboratory are located in Leiden, the centre of the life sciences in the Netherlands.
